💧 Race Overview

It’s the inaugural NEPA Run the River Race: a water-themed 5K Run and Mile Walk!

🏙️ Event Details

• Date: 2025-08-02
• Location: 160 Market St, Wilkes-Barre, PA
• Festival: A day-long “Day Downtown Festival” hosted by NEPA Summer in the City
• Course: A fun run/walk around Kirby Park along the Susquehanna’s banks

🚿 Water Theme

Volunteers will line the course with water guns, blasters, and water toys to cool you off during the course and keep with the water theme of our race! Don’t want to get wet? No worries… just choose the right color shirt when registering.

🏆 Prizes

• Fastest Finishers: Prizes will be given to the fastest in every age group
• Overall Winners: Top three overall male and female finishers will receive awards
