About this race
Event Overview
The 2025 Danville Half Marathon, presented by URW Community Federal Credit Union, features a new course that begins at 215 Main St., Danville, VA 24541.
Course Details
- Type: Out and back course starting and finishing on MLK Bridge.
- Terrain: Mostly flat course along the beautiful paved Riverwalk Trail by the Dan River.
- Timing: This is a chip timed race. All awards will be given based on gun time.
- Limit: Course time limit will be 3.5 hours (16:00 minute mile pace).
Registration Information
- Deadline: Register by 6:00pm Oct. 4th to guarantee your shirt & size.
- Additional Shirts: Some additional shirts will be ordered.
- Day-of-Race Registration: There is no day-of-race registration.
- Timing Company: Timing will be conducted by Blue Ridge Timing, Lynchburg, Virginia.
