The Trustco Bank Veteran & Active Duty Run For Freedom 5K

🎖️ Race Overview

Come together with your friends and family to honor our active and retired Military Veterans on Veteran's Day weekend with a 5k Run or Walk. This event is set to take place on Sunday, November 9, 2025 at Lake Concord Park in Casselberry, FL! Participants can enjoy this celebration of Veterans Day as we come together to support our military with a beautiful run in the Casselberry community. The fun continues after the 5k race with a kids run, face painters, a bounce house, music, and recruiters from the ARMY and NAVY!

The 3rd Annual Trustco Bank Veteran & Active Duty Run for Freedom 5k will celebrate our commitment to supporting our military! Proceeds from the run will benefit the below charities for 2025:

🚗 Event Parking

Event parking will be located across the street from the venue inside the Petsmart parking lot (4510 S US Hwy 17 92, Casselberry, FL 32707). Please look for Event Parking signs directing you into this parking lot.

🕒 Event Timeline

• 6:45am: Race-day Registration and Packet Pickup opens
• 8:00am: 5K Run/Walk begins
• 9:00am: Race Awards
• 9:15am: Kids’ Dashes begin

🏅 5K Race Amenities

• Tech T-shirt: A Tech t-shirt for all 5K Run/Walk participants
• Awards: Awards for the top 3 overall finishers [male & female]
• Finisher Medal: Finisher Medal for all 5K participants
• Food: Water and post-race snacks, plus Mission BBQ will be serving all participants a FREE breakfast sandwich

💲 Registration Fees

5K Run / Walk Registration Fees - 13 & OLDER

• $35.00: through November 8, 2025 [ends at 6pm]
• $45.00: Day of the race (if not sold out)

5K Run / Walk Registration Fees - 12 & UNDER

• $25.00: through November 8, 2025 [ends at 6pm]
• $30.00: Day of the race (if not sold out)

Military Discount - 5K Run / Walk Registration Fees - VETERAN & ACTIVE DUTY

• Note: Must show Military ID at time of packet pickup

🎟️ Fan Supporter Information

Spectators can join in some of the fun for $15.00 through November 8, 2025.

Fan Supporter Amenities Include:

• Tech T-shirt: Each supporter receives a Tech t-shirt
• Food: Mission BBQ will be serving all participants a FREE breakfast sandwich!
• Activities: Fun activities for the Kids and face painters
• Booths: Sponsor/Vendor booths

👕 Race Instructions

• Payment: Race day registration payment will be accepted via credit card payments through RunSignUp only!
• Refund Policy: All entry fees are non-refundable and race registrations are non-transferable.
• Weather Policy: This is a rain or shine event. No refunds will be given due to inclement weather.

🏆 Race Day Details

• T-shirts: All participants who register for the 5K event will receive a unisex Tech T-shirt. Sizes are guaranteed through October 18, 2025.
• Finisher Medals: All PAID 5K participants will receive a custom Trustco Bank Run for Freedom 5K themed finisher medal. Children participating in the FREE kid’s dashes will receive a finisher ribbon.
• Age Group Awards: Race awards will go to the top 3 overall male and female finishers + 3 deep in age groups: 14 and under, 15 - 19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, and 70 & over.
• Kids Dashes: We will host a FREE Kids’ dashes following the 5K & the Awards Ceremony. All children must be registered on race day at the registration table.

⚠️ Safety Rules

In order to ensure safety of all runners, roller skates and in-line skates are prohibited from the race course. It is VERY important for you to stay alert throughout the race, stay inside cones and obey all race signage. Jogging strollers are permitted but must start in the back.

🚼 Stroller Policy

Strollers are allowed. Please line up after the runners & walkers at the start line. Only paid registrants of the 5K Run/Walk will receive a finisher medal. If you would like your child to receive a medal, please register them to participate in the Run/Walk.

📦 Packet Pickup Information

Early Packet Pickup will take place on Friday, November 7th from 3pm - 6pm at TRUSTCO BANK located at 9400 S. US Hwy 17/92, Maitland, FL 32751.

If you are unable to get your packet early, you can pick it up at Lake Concord Park in Casselberry on Race Day beginning at 6:45 am. Please allow additional time to pick up your packet on race day due to parking and potentially long lines.
