Event Overview

• Date: 2027-02-07
• Location: The Rim Trailhead, San Antonio, TX
• Distance: 26.2 miles
• Teams: Minimum of 2 and up to 5 runners

Race Details

• Course: Beautiful, scenic, shaded route along the Howard Peak Greenway System
• Relay Legs: 5 legs of varying lengths
• Start/Finish: Starts at the Rim Trailhead and ends at McAllister Dog Park trailhead
• Registration: Team members must register separately

Awards

• Categories: Junior (Ages 14-20), Open, Masters (Age 40+), Super Masters (Age 50+)
• Mixed teams: Must have at least 2 females
• Special Awards: Best team shirts and best team name

• Open Mixed: Do it for Dale (2026), 2:39:53
• Open Male: Alpha Pack (2025), 2:25:27
• Open Female: The Swift She-Wolves (2025), 2:50:13
• Juniors: MileStoners (2024), 3:00:29

Race Rules

• Verification: All team members eligible for awards must be verified
• Baton: Runners must carry the team baton while on their leg
• Disqualification: Teams may be disqualified for rule violations
• Eligibility: Runners with strollers or pets are not eligible for awards

Packet Pickup

• Mandatory: All packets must be picked up before race day
• Team Pickup: Choose one person to collect packets for the entire team
• Batons: Will be distributed on race day at the start line

Important Dates

• Register Early: Previous years have sold out
• Shirts: Guaranteed for the first 500 registrants before January 15th
• Discounts: 25% for SARR members, 50% for young runners and seniors
• Military Discount: $5 for active/retired military

• Time Limit: 7-hour limit on the marathon relay course
