The Office 5K

Race Overview

• Event: The Office 5K is a road race in Scranton, PA that passes sites featured on NBC’s “The Office.”
• Fun Factor: Participants can dress up as their favorite Office character for fun and prizes.
• Walkers: Enjoy a modified one mile course.
• Date & Time: The race begins at 1pm on Saturday, May 1, 2027.

Location

• Start Address: 523 Linden Street in Scranton, in front of Backyard Ale House.
• Packet Pick-Up: Available at Cooper’s Seafood House (701 N. Washington Avenue) on Friday, April 30 from 4-7pm.
• Day of Race: Items available on the day of the race.
• Block Party: An event and awards ceremony will be held immediately following the race.

Race Policies

• Dog Policy: No dogs are allowed with the runners this year: however, participants can walk their dogs along the one mile course.
• Shirt Guarantee: Participants who register by April 18 are guaranteed a shirt.
• Registration Cost: $35 for pre-registered runners and $50 for day of race registrants.
• Awards: About a dozen costume awards and top finisher awards in various categories.

Important Dates

• Race Start: 1 PM on May 1, 2027.
• Day of Registration: 11:00 AM to 12:30 PM.
• Packet Pick-Up: April 30, 2027, from 4 to 7 PM.
• Age Groups: Awards for ages 0-12, 13-18, 19-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, and 70+.
