The Office 5K

Race Overview

The Office 5K is a road race in Scranton, PA that passes sites featured on NBC’s “The Office.” Participants can dress up as their favorite Office character for fun and prizes. Walkers can enjoy a modified 1 mile course with special activities along the way.

Date and Location

• When: Saturday, May 2, 2026
• Where: 523 Linden Street, Scranton, PA 18503
• Race Start: 1 PM
• Day of Registration/Packet Pick-Up: 11:00 AM to 12:30 PM

Packet Pick-Up

Participants can pick up their race bibs, tee shirts, and race info at Cooper’s Seafood House (701 N. Washington Avenue) on May 1 from 5-7 PM. (These items are also available day of the race.)

There will be a packet pick-up for all pre-registered runners from 4 to 7 PM on Friday, May 1, 2026 at Cooper's Seafood House, 701 N. Washington Ave., Scranton, PA 18509.

Registration Details

• Cost: $30 for pre-registered runners and $40 for day of race registrants.
• Guaranteed Shirt: Participants who register by April 19 are guaranteed a shirt.
• Awards Ceremony: A block party and awards ceremony will be held immediately following the event.

Awards

There will be about a dozen costume awards, including Best Group Costume, Most Obscure Office Reference Award, and Best In Show. Top male and female finishers, top male and female masters finishers, and top three finishers in each of the below age groups will win awards as well.
