👧 About Elaina

• Background: Elaina Donahue, age 3, was diagnosed with Rett Syndrome in 2023. Rett Syndrome is a rare genetic mutation that affects brain development in girls.
• Support: Elaina’s treatment plan will be long term and a hefty expense on her family.
• Aim: This Rett Walk is to raise awareness for all children diagnosed with Rett Syndrome.
• Fundraising: Funds will help her family with the expense of her healthcare in the future.

• Participants: This event is open to young and old, fast (runners) and slow (walkers)!
• Support: We would be honored by anyone that wants to show their support for Elaina on Sept 20th!

📅 Race Details

• Start Time: Both the Fun Run and the 5k will start at 9:00 am. Registration will open at 7:30 am.
• Location: Checotah Sports Complex - CLICK HERE FOR USATF COURSE MAP.
• T-shirts: Sign up by Sept 8th to get a guaranteed t-shirt.
• Medals: Awarded to the top 3 males and females in every 5 year Age Groups.

🏷️ Race Timing & Registration Fees

• Timing: This event will be chip timed by I:40 Race Service.
• Early Bird Fee: Priced through the end of July ($25 for 5k, $20 for Fun Run).
• Discounted Fee: August 1st to Sept 8th ($30 for 5k, $25 for Fun Run).
• Full Price: Sept 9th to race day sign up ($30 for 5k, $25 for Fun Run).
