Elaina Donahue's Rett Run & Walk

Event Overview

• Participant: Elaina Donahue, age 3, was diagnosed with Rett Syndrome in 2023.
• Condition: Rett Syndrome is a rare genetic mutation that affects brain development in girls.
• Purpose: This Rett Walk is to raise awareness for all children diagnosed with Rett Syndrome.
• Support: Funds raised will help her family with the expense of Elaina’s healthcare in the future.

Who Can Join

• All Ages: This event is open to young and old, fast (runners) and slow (walkers)!
• Support: We would be honored by anyone that wants to show their support for Elaina on October 3rd!

Race Details

• Start Time: Both the Fun Run and the 5k will start at 9:00 am, Registration will open at 7:30 am.
• Location & Course: Checotah Sports Complex - CLICK HERE FOR USATF COURSE MAP
• T-shirts: Sign up by Sept 22nd to get a guaranteed t-shirt.
• Medals: Awarded to the top 3 males and females in every 5 year Age Group.

Race Timing

• Timing Service: This event will be chip timed by I:40 Race Service.

Registration Fees

• Early Bird Pricing: $25 for 5k, $20 for Fun Run through the end of July.
• Discounted Pricing: $30 for 5k, $25 for Fun Run from August 1st to Sept 22nd.
• Full Price: $35 for 5k, $25 for Fun Run from Sept 23rd to race day sign up.
