Celebrate a Nurse 5K and 1 Mile Walk

🏃‍♀️ Event Overview

• Date and Time: Saturday, May 2, 2026 at 9:30 a.m.
• Location: 300 Alexander Avenue, Reedsburg, WI at the Madison College-Reedsburg Campus.
• Race Types: Both the 1-mile and 5K races start at 9:30 a.m.

🎓 Purpose

• Scholarship Fund: Proceeds benefit a scholarship for Madison College – Reedsburg nursing students.
• Encouragement: We encourage everyone to participate.

🏅 Race Details

• Timing: Only runners participating in the 5K event will be timed.
• Awards: Presented immediately following the race for the top 1st-3rd place male and female finishers in each age division.
• Route: The 5K route may also be walked.
• Virtual 5K: Participants are ineligible for top 3 finisher awards.

📬 Virtual Participation

• Pick-up: Virtual 5K participants within Sauk County can pick up at Reedsburg Campus: otherwise, shirts will be shipped.
• Transfer Eligibility: In-person sign-up is eligible for transfer to the virtual race if unable to attend.

🏆 Age Divisions

5K age divisions are:

• 17 & under
• 18-29
• 30-39
• 40-49
• 50 & over

👥 Team Participation

• No Additional Charge: Team entries have no additional charge.
• Examples of Teams: Alumni Nurses graduation class, Nursing Departments, Healthcare Organizations, Memorial team, and family teams.
• Creative Attire: Be creative with your team attire: a prize will be given to the most creative team.
• Team Size: No size limit for a team.
• Award: Award for most creative team overall.
