Celebrate a Nurse 5K and 1 Mile Walk

Event Details

• Date: Saturday, May 2, 2026
• Time: 9:30 a.m.
• Location: 300 Alexander Avenue, Reedsburg, WI at the Madison College-Reedsburg Campus
• Race Types: 5K and 1 Mile Walk, both starting at 9:30 a.m.

Purpose

• Beneficiary: Proceeds benefit a scholarship for Madison College – Reedsburg nursing students.
• Participation: Encourage everyone to participate.
• Timing: Only runners participating in the 5K event will be timed.
• Awards: Awards will be presented to the top 1st-3rd place male and females finishing in each age division immediately following the race.

Race Information

• Walking: The 5K route may also be walked.
• Virtual Race: Virtual 5K participants are ineligible for top 3 finisher awards.
• Shirt Pickup: Virtual 5K participants within Sauk County can pick up at Reedsburg Campus: otherwise, shirts will be shipped.
• Transfer: In-person sign-up is eligible for transfer to the virtual race if unable to attend.

Age Divisions

• 17 & under
• 18-29
• 30-39
• 40-49
• 50 & over

Team Participation

• No Additional Charge: Team entries are at no additional charge.
• Examples: Alumni Nurses graduation class, Nursing Departments, Healthcare Organizations, Memorial team, and family teams.
• Creative Attire: Be creative with your team attire – a prize will be given to the most creative team.
• Team Size: No size limit for a team.

Award Categories

• Most Creative Team: Award for the most creative team overall.
