Nocterra Brewing and Columbus Running Company invite you to take on the toughest running event in all of Powell, Ohio - The Nocterra Quitter's Run presented by Brooks.

• Event Date: August 23, 2026
• Location: 41 Depot St, Powell, OH
• Course: 3.2-mile course with 26 feet of climbing per lap
• Distances: 1/8th-marathon to 6-hour ultra

Our emcee will be giving you tons of other reasons to stop. Get thirsty? Quit and have a beer. Stopped by a train? Turn around and head to the beer garden. Very slightly fatigued and not quite feelin’ it? Beer!

Participant Information

Please note: all participants must complete their event by 1 PM. Any starter not finished by 1 PM will be designated a "Quitter".

• Ultra-marathon: 6-hour time limit
• Marathon: 5-hour time limit
• 1/2-marathon: 3-hour time limit
• 1/4-marathon: 2-hour time limit
• 1/8-marathon: 1-hour time limit

There is no early start option for any event, and no new laps can begin after 12:35 PM. Please see our additional race information section for all updated rules and time schedules for this year.

• Ultra-minded: See how many laps you can complete in under 6 hours.
• Quit Option: You can even quit at the start line!

The Course
