As of 8/20/2025, the 1/8 Marathon is currently SOLD OUT! Thank you to those who have signed up so far. Unfortunately, no more spots will be made available in that event. Only want to run one lap? Sign up for a longer event and QUIT! If your event is still listed with a "Sign Up" button above, those events are still open for registration, and the number of spots remaining is listed below each event. 🤔 Are you a quitter?

• Challenge Your Limits: Probably not. But our job is to get in your head and yours is to keep running. Don't quit.
• Host: Nocterra Brewing and Columbus Running Company invite you to take on the toughest running event in all of Powell, Ohio - The Nocterra Quitter's Run presented by Brooks.
• Course Features: Sure there are only 26 feet of climbing per lap, but our emcee will be giving you tons of other reasons to stop.
• Event Duration: We have distances from 1/8th-marathon to 6-hour ultra and we encourage you to sign up for the distance that will push you to your limits.

⏱️ Time Limits and Rules

Please note: all participants must complete their event by 1 PM. Any starter not finished by 1 PM will be designated a "Quitter". This means that the ultra-marathon has a 6-hour time limit, the marathon has a 5-hour time limit, the 1/2-marathon has a 3-hour time limit, the 1/4-marathon has a 2-hour time limit, and the 1/8-marathon has a 1-hour time limit. There is no early start option for any event, and no new laps can begin after 12:35 PM. Please see our additional race information section for all updated rules and time schedules for this year.

• First Marathon: Should you take on your first marathon with a support team cheering you on in the beer garden?
• One Lap Option: Or, just one lap and then a beer?
• Ultra Challenge: Ultra-minded? See how many laps you can complete in under 6 hours.
• Finish with a Beer: You can even quit at the start line! No matter what, there’s a beer for you when you’re done.

The course is a mix of streets, bike paths, and sidewalks. A link to the course map is included under the "Additional Race Information" heading below.
