🌄 About the Race

• Popular Demand: Back by popular demand, and reincarnated in 2016 at a new venue to bring you a new challenge!
• Course: Pure Mojave Desert running at its finest! Come join us on this PAVED and scenic course which covers rolling terrain.
• Elevation: Commencing at an elevation of roughly 4500 feet, runners will experience high desert vegetation.
• Weather: Expect daytime highs ~95-100 degrees and overnight lows ~75.

🌳 Course Highlights

• Vegetation: Joshua Trees, Pinion-Juniper, Mountain Rose, Sagebrush, and more.
• Scenic Route: The road twists and turns thru the canyon: a true treasure of the Spring Mountains N.R.A.
• Cooler Temps: Enjoy temperatures ~10 degrees cooler than the Las Vegas Valley.
• Provisions: On course provisions will help keep you cool!

• Multiple Events: Run two events without the headache of travel in between!

⏰ Race Details

• Multiple 10Ks and 5Ks: There are two 10Ks and two 5Ks at this race!
• Start Times: One on Saturday morning at 8am and one at 12pm NOON.
• Awards: Top 3 overall male and female finishers + 1 deep grand masters (50+) per distance only.
• Registration: Pay attention to the different start times when you register!

📍 Location Information

• Start/Finish Line: Lovell Canyon Road and Highway 160 Junction, just ~30 minutes drive from the Strip.
• Location: Event is held on the Spring Mountains National Recreation Area.
• Permit: Under a special use permit from the Humboldt-Toiyabe National Forest.
