Drumstick Dash Thanksgiving Day Events

Races Offered

Drumstick Dash 10K

• Details: Two laps around Lake Harriet on a USATF Certified course.
• Chip Timing: The race is chip timed by Mtec Results.
• Shirts: Participants can choose to receive no shirt, a long sleeve shirt, or a sweatshirt.
• Registration: Register early to reserve your spot.

Pi Run

• Distance: One lap option around Lake Harriet, just over 5K - 3.14159 miles.
• Timing: The same start line, start time, and finish line as the Drumstick Dash 10K.
• Shirts: Participants can choose to receive no shirt, a long sleeve shirt, or a sweatshirt.
• Registration: Register early to reserve your spot.

Cranberry Cruise One Mile

• Fun Run: A fun run and a great warm-up to your Thanksgiving Day for $10 registration.
• Timing: Check your time by the clock at the finish!
• Beanie Purchase: Participants can purchase a beanie for $10.
• Strollers: Strollers are permitted in the Cranberry Cruise Mile.

Cranberry Kids Half Mile

• Distance: A flat, easy half-mile on the west side of Lake Harriet.
• Registration Fee: Only $10, with an option to purchase a beanie for $10.
• Medals: Every youth will receive a medal.
• Accompanied by Parents: Parents are welcome to run with kids at no additional cost.

Race Fees

• 10K & Pi Run: No giveaway for the lowest race fee of $50: shirt for an additional $10 ($60 total): sweatshirt for an additional $25 ($75 total).
• Cranberry Cruise Mile & Half Mile: No giveaway for $10: winter beanie for an additional $10 ($20 total).
• Packet Pick-Up: Participants choosing the no giveaway option may purchase at packet pick-up based on availability.
• No Refunds: All entries are final: no refunds will be given for race entry fees for any reason.

• 7:30 AM: Cranberry Cruise Mile
• 7:30 AM: Cranberry Kids Half Mile
• 8:00 AM: Drumstick Dash 10K
• 8:00 AM: Pi Run 3.14 Miles

Packet Pick Up Information

• November 22: 11:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. at Mill City Running, 411 E. Hennepin, Minneapolis
• November 26: 11:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. at Saint City Running, 767 Cleveland Ave S, St. Paul.
• Race Day: November 27, 6:45 a.m. to 7:45 a.m. at Lake Harriet Bandshell

Field Limits

• Participant Limit: Total of 850 for the Drumstick Dash 10K and Pi Run.
• Staggered Start: Allows for social distancing and space on the course.
• Packet Pick-Up: All participants are encouraged to pick up their packets in advance of race day.
• No Refunds: Please note that all entries are final. No refunds will be given for race entry fees for any reason.
