MMIWG2S Alaska 5k Run for Healing

Event Overview

• Purpose: We invite you to participate and honor Missing and Murdered Indigenous Women, Girls, Two Spirit+ and all relatives through healthy healing.
• Event Type: This annual MMIWG2S+ Alaska Run for Healing, Run for Justice is a 5K timed or 1 Mile untimed walk or run for healing dedicated to honoring missing and murdered Indigenous women, girls, and all relatives.
• Registration: This is a FREE Event, (a $30 donation respectfully recommended) and open to all.
• Community Focus: This event is meant to raise awareness and provide a healthy healing activity for our community to join.

Event Schedule

• Pre-Race Activities: Feel free to join us as early as 11:00 AM for pre-race activities.
• Race Start: Please note that the race will begin promptly at 12:00 PM.
• Event Location: Kincaid Park Chalet, Anchorage, AK.
• Date: August 29, 2026.
