Boos & Brews 5K (Syracuse)

Event Overview

Join us for an event the epitomizes the concept of combining Fun and Run into One! The Halloween themed Boos & Brews 5K has become a very popular haunted 5K experience for both the young in age and the young in heart. For the past 3 years this event has sold out, so we have decided to officially add a second start time for 2026. When registering you will now have the option of registering for either the 10:00am start time or the 11:30am start time. Both "heats" will be capped at 250 participants.

Costumes and Post Race Party

• Costumes: Costumes are not mandatory but certainly encouraged.
• Post Race Venue: The event ends with a fun post race party at WT Brews.
• Post Race Features: The post race event at WT Brews will include beer specials, homemade Halloween cookies, and of course "Ghoulash".

Giveaways and Awards

• Shirt Giveaway: This year's giveaway is a custom long sleeve shirt that continues the trend of must-have apparel for Halloween day.
• Finisher Medal: All finishers will receive a custom and very appropriate finisher medal.
• Awards: Overall, Masters Overall and Age Group awards will be given.
• Costume Contest: There will be a separate costume contest with prizes awarded for best, most unique/creative, and scariest.

Charity Beneficiary

The race event will once again benefit the Baldwinsville Meals On Wheels.
