Celebrate the 37th Anniversary of Wegmans Lights on the Lake with a 5K!
Event Details
5K Walk Saturday, November 21, 2026 at 6:00am
- Experience: Get ready for the holiday season by walking through the magical Lights on the Lake.
- Start Time: This early morning 5K walk will start at 6:00am- before sunrise.
- Location: The walk will start at the Salt Museum Parking Lot within Onondaga Lake Park.
- Perks: Each participant will receive a buff!
5K Run Sunday, November 22, 2026 at 6:00am
- Experience: Get ready for the holiday season by running through the magical Lights on the Lake.
- Start Time: This early morning 5K run will start at 6:00am- before sunrise.
- Location: The race will start at the Salt Museum Parking Lot within Onondaga Lake Park.
- Perks: Each participant will receive a beanie! A limited edition 2026 LOL 5K Ornament will be given out to the top 3 finishers in each age level.
Participant Limits
- Walk: The walk will be capped at 750 participants.
- Run: The run will also be capped at 750 participants.
Top Prizes for the 5K Run Only
- Age Groups: The top racers in each age/gender category receive a limited edition 2026 Lights on the Lake 5K ornament.
- Categories: 1-14, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70+.
Packet Pick Up
- Date: Friday, November 20th from 3-6pm at Salt Museum (106 Lake Drive, Liverpool).
- Entry: Must enter off of 1st Street and turn onto Lake Drive.
- Walk: Saturday, November 21st - packet pick up available starting at 5am.
- Run: Sunday, November 22nd - packet pick up available starting at 5am.
Help Us Give Back
- Beneficiary: A portion of the proceeds and all donations will go to Upstate Golisano Children's Hospital.
- Toy Collection: Unwrapped toys will be collected for children spending the holidays in the hospital.
