Celebrate the 35th Anniversary of Wegmans Lights on the Lake with a 5K!

🏃‍♂️ 5K Walk

Saturday, November 23, 2024 at 6:00am

• Description: Get ready for the holiday season by walking through the magical Lights on the Lake. This early morning 5K walk will start at 6:00am- before sunrise so that you can enjoy the beauty of all of the light displays!
• Location: The walk will start at the Marina Parking Lot within Onondaga Lake Park.
• Participant Gift: Each participant will receive a buff!
• Limit: The walk will be capped at 750 participants.

🏃‍♀️ 5K Run

Sunday, November 24, 2024 at 6:00am

• Description: Get ready for the holiday season by running through the magical Lights on the Lake. This early morning 5K run will start at 6:00am- before sunrise so that you can enjoy the beauty of all of the light displays!
• Location: The race will start at the Marina Parking Lot within Onondaga Lake Park.
• Timing: Timing and results will be provided.
• Participant Gift: Each participant will receive a beanie! A limited edition 2024 LOL 5K Ornaments will be given out to the top 3 finishers in each age level (these will be mailed after the race).

🏅 Top Prizes For The 5K Run Only

• Champion's Gift: The top racers in each age/gender category receive a limited edition 2024 Lights on the Lake 5K ornament!
• Categories: 1-14, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70+
• Note: This is different than the 2024 Lights on the Lake Ornament currently on sale at lightsonthelake.com.

📦 Packet Pick Up (for both the Walk and the Run)

• Date: Friday, November 22nd from 3-6pm - Griffin Visitor Center (next to the Wegmans Playground), 106 Lake Drive, Liverpool, NY 13088
• Option 1: Saturday, November 23rd (5K WALK) - packet pick up available starting at 5am
• Option 2: Sunday, November 24th (5K RUN) - packet pick up available starting at 5am

• Donation: A portion of the proceeds and all donations will go to Upstate Golisano Children's Hospital.
• Toy Collection: We will also be collecting unwrapped toys for Upstate Golisano Children's Hospital to use for the children that are spending the holidays in the hospital.
