Cazenovia Preservation Foundation Turkey Trot

🏃‍♂️ Race Overview

Join us on Thanksgiving morning for a family-friendly 5K and 1-mile Fun Run/Walk on the Gorge Trail in Cazenovia, NY. Courses are out-and-back on a gravel converted rail-trail.

🎽 Race Setup

• Timing: Professional Chip Timing
• Courses: Separate courses and staggered start times for 5K and 1-mile Fun Run/Walk. (Start location is the same for both.)

💰 Race Fees

Pre-registration is highly recommended. Final day to pre-register is Tuesday, November 25 at 5 pm.

• Members: $20 for CPF Members
• Non-Members: $25 for Non Members (to become a CPF member, go to cazpreservation.org/membership)
• Day-of-Race: $35 for day-of-race registrations for all runners/walkers ages 13 and up.
• Kids: Kids aged 12 and under are FREE.

📅 Race Day Details

• 8:00-9:00 am: Pick up Race Bibs at check-in table.
• 9:30 am: 5K Race Start (north-bound on the Gorge Trail).
• 9:40 am: 1-mile Fun Run/Walk Start (south-bound on the Gorge Trail).
• 10:15 am: Prizes awarded to the top 3 finishers in each category (Men, Women, and Youth).
• Costumes: Costumes are encouraged! Wear your favorite Turkey Trot garb.
• Food Drive: We will be collecting non-perishable food for Caz Cares. Please bring a canned food donation.
• Facilities: There are no bathroom facilities at the trail head. Please take care of business before you arrive.
• Restrictions: NO DOGS OR STROLLERS PERMITTED ON THE TRAIL DURING THE RACE.

• Parking: Please use Burton Street to access parking at Burton Street Elementary School, 37 Burton Street, Cazenovia, NY.
• Bridge Closure: The Clark Street bridge will be closed from 8 - 11 a.m.
