🏃♂️ Hillbilly Half Race Series - Run for the Kids
HOWDY Friends! This year we've added something new and exciting! Ya'll can "Run fer the Kids" in a 5K, 10K, or the inaugural HALF MARATHON! This will be the FIRST half marathon for the HBDRun and we are so excited! So, pick your distance and join us in beautiful downtown Pikeville at the Pikeville City Park, while you enjoy Kentucky's 2nd largest festival, Hillbilly Days.
🛣️ Race Routes
Each participant will have different routes based on their selected distance:
- 5K & 10K: Mainly on pavement/sidewalks in the downtown area of Pikeville.
- Half Marathon: Includes some "off-roading" through beautiful trails with challenging inclines along a wide path of paved or gravel terrain.
🏅 Race Rewards
Participants will receive:
- T-shirt or Tank Top
- Unique Medal: The first in a series to celebrate the inaugural half marathon with subsequent years featuring different members of the Hillbilly family.
- Timing: The race will be timed for participants to enjoy at their own pace.
👨👩👧👦 Additional Activities
Other activities include:
- Kids Fun Run: Free for kids.
- 2 Mile Walk: Available for 2024.
