• Variety: 18 event options available.
• Distance: 6 Olympic distance events (Triathlon, RunBikeRun, SwimBike, SwimRun, 1640 Yard Swim & 10K Run).
• Sprint Events: 6 Sprint distance events (Triathlon, RunBikeRun, SwimBike, SwimRun, 400 yard Swim & 5K Run).
• Youth Events: 6 Youth Sprint distance events (Triathlon, RunBikeRun, SwimBike, SwimRun, 400 yard Swim & 5K Run).

🏞️ CASTAIC LAKE

• Location: 34th annual Castaic Lake Triathlon at scenic Castaic Lake, 20 miles north of Los Angeles.
• Facilities: An 11,200-acre multi-use facility with two lakes, boating, fishing, hiking, and more.
• Water Temperature: Great time to enjoy the water in the high 60s.
• Camping: "Tri-cation" Friday night camping available through Castaic Lake.

🚴 THE COURSE

• Swim Course: Modified V shape in Paradise Cove with 8 lifeguards in the water.
• Bike Course: Back roads to limit interaction with cars with U-turns: slow down at turn around points.
• Run Course: Primarily on rolling trails overlooking Castaic Lake.

• Event Temp: Expect around 60 degrees during the event.

• Typical Range: Water temps in June typically range in the mid to high 60s.
