About the Event
- Background: The AIDS Walk for Life was started by AIDS Project Rhode Island in the mid-1980s—part of a wave of grassroots fundraisers held across the country to provide support to those affected by HIV.
- Purpose: Today the Run/Walk for Life raises much-needed funds that allow us to continue our mission.
- Mission: We provide a compassionate, non-judgmental, and a collaborative response to people living with, affected by, and at risk for HIV.
