• Course: Chip timed, starting and finishing at Doodle Park on a certified course

Purpose

• Beneficiary: All proceeds will go to the Beverly Smith Scholarship Fund.
• About PWA: The Pickens Women’s Association (PWA) is a non-profit organization promoting community involvement.
• Scholarship: The fund honors Beverly Smith, awarded annually to a female graduating from Pickens High School.
• Charity: Extra proceeds are donated to local charities, helping the community.

Race Details

• Start Time: The race will start promptly at 10:00am.
• Awards Ceremony: Expected around 11:15am after the last runner.
• Awards: 3 deep for overall M/F and Masters M/F, and age group awards at 10-year intervals.
• Family Friendly: Includes 3 deep under 10 and 10-14 age groups, plus 1 deep for 15-19.

• Overall Prizes: Cash awards for overall male and female.
• 1st Place: $100
• 2nd Place: $75
• 3rd Place: $25

Packet Pick-up

• Location: Under the shelter at Doodle Park in Pickens.
• Dates: Friday 4/24/26 from 4:00pm-6:30pm and on race morning from 8:00am-9:30am.

Tee Shirts

• Eligibility: All runners registering by 4/15/26 will receive a tee shirt.
• Availability: Shirts not available after 4/15/26.

Parking

• Available Locations: Parking is available on E. Cedar Rock St.
• Additional Option: City Works on Railroad St.
