• Location: 415 E. Cedar Rock St, Pickens, SC

• Series: This is the 3rd race in The Pickens County 5k Race Series.

Purpose

• Charity: All proceeds from the race will go to the Beverly Smith Scholarship Fund.
• Organization: The Pickens Women’s Association (PWA) is a non-profit civic organization dedicated to increasing community awareness and involvement in Pickens.
• Scholarship: The Beverly M. Smith Scholarship is awarded annually to a female graduating from Pickens High School who exhibits exceptional leadership and civic skills.
• Impact: Proceeds above the scholarship amount are donated to local charities, making a difference in the community.

Race Details

• Start Time: The race will start promptly at 10:00am.
• Award Ceremony: Scheduled for around 11:15am after the last runner has completed the course.
• Awards: 3 deep for overall Male/Female and Masters Male/Female: Age group awards given at 10 year intervals.
• Family Friendly: This year features awards for under 10, 10-14, and 15-19 age groups.

Cash Awards

• 1st Place: $100
• 2nd Place: $75
• 3rd Place: $25

Packet Pick-up

• Date & Time: Friday, April 24, 2026, from 4:00pm-6:30pm and race morning from 8:00am-9:30am.
• Location: Under the shelter at the Doodle Park in Pickens.

Tee Shirts

• Eligibility: All runners who register by April 15, 2026, will receive a tee shirt.
• Note: Tee shirts will not be available after April 15, 2026.

Parking

• Available Locations: Parking is available on E. Cedar Rock St and at City Works on Railroad St.
