🎉 Race Description

The Be There! 5K provides participants a fun course throughout the Miami-Dade County Fairgrounds. Celebrate opening weekend of the 2025 Youth Fair by running through the midway during the annual run.

🏁 Course Information

The BE THERE 5K begins at the main entrance of The Youth Fair. Participants will run through Tamiami Park then enter the fairgrounds to run alongside the rides, concessions stands, exhibits and cross the finish line on Main Street inside the fairgrounds. The course map will be emailed to participants.

🏅 Finisher Rewards

• Finishers Medal:

• Admission Ticket: One Admission to the 2025 Youth Fair for Opening Weekend (March 15 or 16)

📦 Race Packets & Pickup

• Packet Pickup #1:
  • When: Friday, March 14 (12:00 PM - 7:00 PM)
  • Where: Fairgrounds
    • Please enter at Gate #3 which is located on Coral Way and 10900 Block.
• Packet Pickup #2: Race Day
  • When: Saturday, March 15 (starting at 6:00 AM)
  • Where: Fairgrounds Main Entrance. Enter at Coral Way and 112th Avenue.

⏰ Schedule of Events

We recommend that you plan to arrive at least one hour before the start time.

• 5:30 AM: Park opens for parking
• 6:00 AM: Packet Pickup opens
• 7:15 AM: Stretch provided by Legacy Fit Doral
• 7:28 AM: National Anthem
• 7:30 AM: Be There! 5K Starts

👀 Spectators

Do you have someone who would like to watch the race? Spectators are allowed however, those who want to watch the race will need to purchase an admission ticket to The Youth Fair. This ticket can be used to return to The Youth Fair later that day during regular operating hours. Spectator Tickets can now be purchased here.

🎓 Youth Fair Scholarship Program

Proceeds from the Youth Fair’s Be There! 5K will benefit the Miami-Dade County Fair and Exposition’s scholarship program. The Miami-Dade County Fair & Exposition, Inc. is a not-for-profit organization dedicated to enriching the community by promoting education and South Florida agriculture while showcasing and rewarding youth achievement. We accomplish this by producing a first-class fair with quality entertainment and providing facilities for year-round events.
