Race Description

• Course: The fastest trail in Texas with 99.9% flat terrain.
• Surface: Hard crushed rock, soft hiking trails under tree canopy, easy horse trails.
• Wildlife: Expect to see American Alligators and diverse bird species.
• Conditions: Typically warm and humid, cooler mornings possible.

Event Schedule

• Packet Pickup: April 8, Noon - 7 PM at Good Times Running Co, Katy.
• Friday Activities: Packet Pickup at Elm Lake Pavilion from Noon - 7 PM.
• Race Day: Shuttles begin at 4 AM, with various races starting at staggered times.
• Finish Line: Closes at 9 PM (final cutoff for all events).

Race Logistics

• Arrive Early: Recommended to park at least an hour before your event.
• Race Swag: All runners receive a choice of race swag.
• Aid Stations: Texas size full aid stations provided.
• Timing: The race will be chip timed.

Park Pass Information

• Access: Registered runners/pacers, volunteers, and campers do not need a pass.
• Guest Fee: Guests aged 13 and over require a special events state park pass.
• Proof Required: Digital receipt to be shown at packet pickup for wristbands.
• Pre-Purchase: Extra park passes available in the TROT store before the event.

Pacers

• Rules: Pacers are allowed only on the final lap of the 50M.
• Registration: Must be completed by the pacer for insurance purposes.
• Limit: Each athlete may have ONE pacer unless otherwise approved.
• Pacer Benefits: Includes park pass, parking, and event support.

Camping & Accommodations

• Restrictions: Camping at the event area and parking lots is NOT permitted.

• Alternative Camping: BBRV offers primitive camping and RV parking.
