🏃‍♂️ Brazos Bend 50 Overview

This is the April edition of our popular Brazos Bend races with the marquee event being the 50-mile. Additional events include the 50k, 25k, 10k, and 5k. A great event for veteran or first-time ultra runners, trail runners, and those new to running in general.

🌳 Course Details

• Fastest Trail: The Brazos Bend course is the fastest trail in Texas trail running.
• Terrain: The course is 99.9% flat, with the only hill being 10 feet.
• Conditions: Typically warm and humid in Spring, but can start with cooler mornings.
• Wildlife: Enjoy seeing birds and American Alligators during your run.

📅 2025 Event Schedule

• Packet Pickup: Wednesday, April 2nd from Noon - 7 PM at Good Times Running Co in Katy.
• Setup: Personal area setup at Elm Lake Pavilion - open canopies allowed.
• Race Start: 6 AM: 50-Mile, 7 AM: 50-Kilometer, 7:30 AM: 25K, and so forth.
• Parking: Shuttles begin at 4 AM from Nature Center/40 Acre/Overflow Parking Lots to Elm Lake.

• Swag: Every runner receives your choice of race swag.
• Support: Outstanding volunteer support throughout the event.
• Aid Stations: Texas size full aid stations available.
• Timing: Chip timed race for accurate results.

🏕 Camping & Accommodations

• No Camping: Camping at event area, parking lots, and pavilions is NOT allowed.
• Reservations: Camping must be reserved through the online reservation system.
• Nearby Options: Open primitive camping and RV parking available at BBRV across the street.
• Accommodations: Closest lodging in Rosenburg and Sugar Land through AirBnB and hotels.
