Candy Cane 5K Run

🎄 About This Event

• Kickoff: Kick off the holiday season by joining us for our fourth year and helping with a great cause.
• Attire: Gather your family, friends, neighbors, classmates, and co-workers: don your ugliest sweaters or dress up as elves and reindeer: deck yourselves in blinking holiday lights.
• Course: This is a rain, shine, or snow event. Catch the sounds, sights, and lights of the season as you travel this relatively flat road race through Stevensville's subdivisions and downtown area.
• Participation: Fun for all ages and abilities. Dogs on leashes and strollers welcome.

💰 Net Proceeds

• Beneficiary: Net proceeds to benefit St. Paul's Lutheran School's Scholarship Fund.

📍 Event Locations

• Early Packet Pickup: Friday, December 6th, 6:00-8:30 pm @ St. Paul's Lutheran School Gym (2673 W. John Beers Rd., enter from lower lot).
• Race Day Packet Pickup: Saturday, December 7th, 7:45-8:45 am @ St. Paul's Lutheran School Gym (2673 W. John Beers Rd., enter from lower lot).
• Start/Finish: Race Starts and Finishes at the St. Paul’s Lutheran School.

🕒 Event Times

• Friday Pickup: Early Packet Pickup - Friday, December 6th, 6:00-8:30 pm @ St. Paul's Lutheran School Gym.
• Saturday Pickup: Race Day Packet Pickup - Saturday, December 7th, 7:45-8:45 am @ St. Paul's Lutheran School Gym.
• Registration: Race Day Registration - Same Day registrations from 7:45-8:45 am. $35 Late registration Fee.
• Race Start: Race Time - 9:00 am, @ St. Paul’s Lutheran School.

💵 Registration Fees

• Pricing: Registration Pricing - $30.00* walk or run. Early Pre-Registration must be completed on-line this year by Thursday, December 5th, 11:59 pm EST.
• Late Fee: After Thursday, December 5th (11:59 pm) Registration fees will increase to $35.00.
• Refund Policy: The Refund Policy tab states that there are no refunds for this race. If the race would unfortunately need to be cancelled due to a state mandate effective at the time of the race, participants will be contacted and given three reimbursement options.

👕 Tee Shirts

• Guarantee: To be guaranteed a tee shirt, participants must register before Nov. 17, 2024.
• Extra Shirts: Extra tee shirts will be ordered but will be available on a "First Come, First Served" basis.

🏆 Age Divisions and Awards

• Overall Awards: Overall Male and Overall Female Awards.
• Age Divisions: Age Division Awards (Male and Female) - 12 and Under, 13-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, and 60+.
• Winner Announcement: We will meet in the gym at St. Paul and enjoy time out of the cold before announcing the winners.
• Medals: Medals will be mailed to the winners who cannot stay for the announcements.

⏱️ Timing and Scoring

• Technology: Timing and scoring will be done by Mac's Sports Timing using ChronoTrack technology.
• Results: Participant Times will be available on RunSignUp LIVE during the race and results will be posted during the event for participants to view.
