Candy Cane 5K Run

About This Event:

• Kickoff: Kick off the holiday season by joining us for our sixth year and helping with a great cause.
• Dress Up: Gather your family, friends, neighbors, classmates and co-workers: don your ugliest sweaters or dress up as elves and reindeer.
• Event Type: This is a rain, shine, or snow event. Fun for all ages and abilities.
• Pets Welcome: Dogs on leashes and strollers welcome.

Net proceeds to benefit St. Paul's Lutheran School's Scholarship Fund.

• Race Day Packet Pickup: Saturday, December 5th, 7:45-8:45 am @ St. Paul's Lutheran School Gym (2673 W. John Beers Rd., enter from lower lot)
• Starting Point: Race Starts and Finishes at the St. Paul’s Lutheran School

• Race Day Registration: Same Day registrations from 7:45-8:45 am. $35 Late Registration Fee
• Race Time: 9:00 am, @ St. Paul’s Lutheran School

Registration Fees:

• Registration Pricing: $30.00* walk or run. Early Pre-Registration must be completed on-line this year by Thursday, December 3rd, 11:59 pm EST. *There is a small service charge.
• Increased Fees: After Thursday, December 3rd (11:59 pm) Registration fees will increase to $35.00
• Refund Policy: The Refund Policy tab states that there are no refunds for this race. If the race would need to be cancelled, participants will be contacted and given three reimbursement options.

Tee Shirts:

To be guaranteed a tee shirt, participants must register before Nov. 15, 2026. Extra tee shirts will be ordered but will be available on a "First Come, First Served" basis.

Age Divisions and Awards:

• Awards: Overall Male and Overall Female
• Age Division Awards: (Male and Female) - 12 and Under, 13-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, and 60+.
• New Category: Registration discount for racers 70+. If we receive enough registrations, we will open a 70+ race category for male and female racers!
• Post-Race Awards: Awards will be given in the gym at St. Paul's with time out of the cold before announcing the winners. Awards for Best Christmas Apparel!

Timing and Scoring:

Timing and scoring will be done by Mac's Sports Timing using ChronoTrack technology. Participant Times will be available on RunSignUp LIVE during the race and results will be posted during the event for participants to view.
