Join us for the Third Annual 5K to Raise Awareness for Cerebral Palsy, a day dedicated to strength, unity, and community support for individuals living with CP. Together, we walk, run, and roll for our warriors.
Cerebral Palsy (CP) is a group of disorders that affect a person’s ability to move and maintain balance and posture. It is the most common motor disability in childhood, with recent data indicating a prevalence of approximately 1 in 345 children in the United States. Globally, more than 17 million people are living with CP. It is a lifelong, non-progressive neurological condition, and no two cases are the same.
This yearly event is proudly dedicated to Julianna Rose, a fearless and resilient little girl who suffered two brain hemorrhages in utero at 19 and 25 weeks due to a rare blood condition known as Neonatal Alloimmune Thrombocytopenia (NAIT). Despite the odds, Julianna continues to inspire those around her with her courage and determination.
All are welcome to walk or run alongside Julianna, who will be proudly participating in her wheelchair. Enjoy a scenic route through the beautiful trails of Belmont Lake State Park.
Let’s come together to raise awareness, build community, and celebrate the strength of those living with cerebral palsy—like Julianna and so many others.
All participants who registered before October 11th will receive a T-shirt at check-in.
