🎉RUN 4 BEIGEL LONG ISLAND
- Event Purpose: The RUN 4 BEIGEL is much more than a race - it's a birthday weekend celebration. We will #JustRunFaster for Scott!
- Community Gathering: Join us on-site at Half Hollow Hills HS East and bring your family and friends to celebrate Scott's 43rd birthday together.
- Support the Fund: RUN 4 BEIGEL is a special event celebrating the life and impact of Scott J. Beigel. Donations support the Scott J. Beigel Memorial Fund, a 501(c)(3) organization.
- Partnerships: Every entry, sponsor, and donor is a valued partner to RUN 4 BEIGEL as we race to remember Scott and change the world for children in need.
🌟ABOUT THE SCOTT J. BEIGEL MEMORIAL FUND
- Mission: The Scott J. Beigel Memorial Fund helps send at-risk children touched by gun violence to summer sleep-away camp.
- Scott's Legacy: Scott loved working with children and teaching, and the Fund keeps his legacy of giving back alive and growing.
- 2022 Impact: The Fund presented $283,600 in grants to 6 summer sleep-away camps, funding camperships for 212 children.
- Ongoing Support: We hope we can count on your continued support through fundraising efforts and donations.
📅RACE DAY INFORMATION
- 7:30 AM: Package Pickup and Registration opens
- 9:00 AM: 5K Run / Walk Begins
- 10:00 AM: Kids Fun Run
🏆Awards (In-Person Participants)
- Overall Winners: Recognizing both Female and Male winners in the 5K
- Medals: Awards for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place in each age division (Female and Male)
- Age Divisions: 14 and under, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70-74, 75-79, 80-84, 85+
💰Races, Info, and Pricing
- 5K RUN / WALK (LIVE EVENT - In-Person): Date: Sunday, 10/19/25 at 9:00 AM EST.
- Registration: $35 for Pre-registration, $40 on Race Day. Remember to wear your Halloween costumes!
- 5K RUN / WALK (VIRTUAL EVENT): Join as individual or a team. Registration is $35 (plus $5 shipping).
- Submit Virtual Results: Go to your RunSignUp profile and submit your time after the event.
