Chicken Creek Challenge

All middle school races are 3.5 kilometers and high school races are 5 kilometers. Both maps are now attached.

📅 Schedule of Events

• Coaches' Meeting: 7:30 am at the Finish Line Area
• Middle School Girls (B Team): 8:00 (unlimited entries - no team award)
• Middle School Boys (B Team): 8:30
• MS Girls (A Team): 9:00 (run 7 score 4)
• MS Boys (A Team): 9:30
• JV Girls: 10:00 (unlimited entries - no team award)
• JV Boys: 10:30
• Varsity Girls: 11:00 (run 7 - score 4)
• Varsity Boys: 11:45

💲 Cost of Participation

The cost for this meet is $150 for high school and middle school teams or $10 per athlete if you have a small team.

🗺️ Directions to Course

To get to the course from Mancos: Turn North onto Highway 184 toward Dolores. Two and a half miles up Highway 184, turn right onto County Road 40 (Millwood Road). DO NOT TURN ONTO CHICKEN CREEK ROAD (CR 41) AS THIS WILL TAKE YOU TO THE BACK OF THE COURSE. Follow CR 40 until you see the San Juan National Forest sign (about two and a half miles). The parking will be on your right in the parking lot for the Ski Area.
