Join us for the 8th annual DEWEY DECIMAL DASH 5K RUN / WALK and support the Haverford Township Free Library! This fun, family friendly event is for all ages and fitness levels and brings our community together to support our Library!

🏘️ Community Impact

• Patron Visits: 180,000 patron visits each year, a gateway to community connection.
• Annual Programs: The Library hosts nearly 1,000 programs annually with 27,000 attendees.
• Fundraising Success: This event has raised almost $100,000 since 2017, helping fulfill the Library's mission.
• Library Programs: Offers a variety of events from author talks to Teen Mindful Yoga.

📅 Event Details

• Date: Saturday, November 1, 2025
• Location: 1601 Darby Road, Havertown, PA
• 7:30 AM: Registration begins
• 8:00 AM: 5K Run begins
• 8:05 AM: 1 Mile Fun Run/Walk begins

🚀 New Starting Location

NEW STARTING LOCATION: The "Golf Road side" of Haverford Middle School (1701 Darby Rd, Havertown, PA 19083). This is a new STARTING location this year due to library renovations: the course remains the same down Mill Road to Karakung Drive to Manoa Road and back.

🏁 Course Information

• 5K Course: Runs down Mill Road, to Karakung Drive, to Manoa and back to the Library.
• 1 Mile Course: Run/walk down Mill Road to Earlington and back.
• Virtual Participants: Can run or walk anytime between 11/5/23 - 11/11/23 and log times on the Runsignup registration page.

💰 Pricing Information

• 5K Individual:
  • Early Bird: $30 through 10/25/24
  • Regular: $35 through 11/1/24
  • Day of Race: $40 on 11/1/24
• 1 Mile Run/Walk:
  • Early Bird: $20 through 10/25/24
  • Regular: $25 through 11/1/24
  • Day of Race: $30 on 11/1/24
