Germantown Academy’s Patriot Run and Fun Walk

🏃‍♂️ Event Overview

Germantown Academy invites the surrounding community to participate in the 2024 Patriot Run and Fun Walk. This is an opportunity to explore a unique 5K course that winds through the beautiful Germantown Academy campus in Fort Washington. This is a fundraiser for the Germantown Academy Parents’ Committee to support the enrichment of the community by promotion of communication, cooperation, friendship and understanding among parents, employees, administration, and students.

📍 Location

• Venue: Germantown Academy – Carey Stadium
• Address: 300 Morris Rd, Fort Washington, PA 19034

🌄 Course Details

• Terrain: This spectator-friendly 5K course features challenging terrain as it winds its way around the picturesque GA campus.
• Start: The race starts on the track at Carey Stadium.
• Path: The course quickly switches to paved, grass, and wooded paths.
• Finish: Runners complete the course with a dramatic finish with cheering spectators inside Carey Stadium.

👟 Fun Walk

This is a chance for families with little ones to enjoy a fun one-mile walk/jog around The Preserve and surrounding campus, finishing at Carey Stadium!

📊 Race Results

Race will be professionally timed by the Bryn Mawr Racing Co. Results will be found at http://www.brynmawrracing.com.

🏅 Awards

• Categories: Awards will be given to the top three male and female runners for the 5k event.
• Prizes: Prizes will be $100 for 1st place, $75 for 2nd place, and $50 for 3rd place.
