Golden Driller Marathon

Event Overview

The 11th annual Golden Driller Marathon will be held on April 18, 2026.

Race Details

• Race Distances: The Golden Driller marathon includes a race distance for all levels from 5k to marathon!
• Location: All races will be held on the very nice paved trails of Tulsa's Riverparks system along the banks of the Arkansas River.
• Iconic Feature: The race gets its name from the iconic Golden Driller statue located at EXPO Square in Tulsa. For more details on this Tulsa icon visit this link.
• Community Feel: This race is known for its small size and friendly nature, as well as great post-race food and beer for those 21 and over.

Participant Perks

• Tech Shirt: Each participant will receive a tech shirt with their entry.
• Finisher Medal: Participants will also receive a great custom finisher medal that features the Golden Driller.
• Post-Race Amenities: Enjoy great post race food and beer for those 21 and over.
• Ideal Atmosphere: This is a great smaller marathon or half for those who want to avoid the crush of giant big city races.

Course Information

• Course Profile: The course is flat and fast, with the exception of one hill that appears on the marathon course. All other courses are flat.
• Parking: On-site parking at the start/finish is available.
• Location: The start/finish area is located very close to downtown Tulsa (within 3 miles) and many downtown hotels.
• Certification: All courses are USATF certified and the marathon is a Boston qualifier.
