Race Description
- Trail Features: Soaring single track, competitive turns, rock gardens, and challenging hills.
- Races Available: 10k Trail Run & Mountain Bike Race.
- Finisher Medals: Awards for both 10k & MTB races, including Age Group and Overall Awards!
- Custom Event Shirt: All runners will receive a special event shirt.
Packet Pickup Information
- Location: Fleet Feet Sports Fresno, 9447 N Fort Washington Suite 106, Fresno, CA 93739
- Date: Saturday, January 31st from 3pm to 5pm.
- Race Day Pickup: Sunday, February 1st, from 7:00 AM - 7:50 AM for 10k and 8:45 AM - 9:45 AM for MTB Race.
- Note: There will NOT be any race day registration.
Directions to Hensley Lake
- Map Directions: Click here for Google Map Directions.
- GPS Note: Ensure your GPS directs you to the Buck Ridge Recreation Area on the east side of Hensley Lake.
- Parking Fee: $10 self-pay fee at the main gate: America the Beautiful Pass accepted.
- Parking Instructions: Follow the main road, turn left into the boat parking lot, and the Start/Finish area will be on your left.
Race Logistics
- Start Time: 10k Run starts at 8 AM: MTB Race starts near 10 AM.
- Parking Restrictions: No parking on the shoulder: park rangers will issue citations.
- Race Start Location: Just inside of the Buck Ridge Recreation main gate on the right-hand side (north side).
- MTB Race Numbers: Must be attached to the front of handlebars for accurate results.
Participant Information
- 10k Ride & Run: Participants only need to complete 1 lap for the MTB Ride. Confirm with timing tent for more laps.
- Lap Requirements: Category A-3 laps, Category B-2 laps, CAT 1 & Juniors-1 lap: no switching groups during the race.
- Shirt Sizing: If your registered shirt size does not fit, wait until after the race to switch it out.
- Course Markers: The course will have signs and orange ribbons to ensure easy navigation.
Aid and Awards
- Aid Station: No aid station for the 10k: carry your own water.
- Awards: 10k awards for Overall Male & Female 1st-3rd and in 10-year age groups.
- MTB Awards: Overall Male & Female 1st-3rd for each Category A, B, & C.
- Pickup for Awards: If unable to stay for the awards, pick them up at Fleet Feet Sports Fresno on Tuesday after 2 PM.
