🚌 Transportation Information

• Marathon Transport: No shuttle to the start: runners are responsible for their own transportation.
• Half Marathon Shuttle: Buses will take runners to the trailhead: a scenic 1-mile walk to the start is included.
• No Parking: No parking available at the half marathon start, trailhead, or finish line.
• Return Shuttles: Provided for runners to return to their original parking locations after the race.

⏱️ Race Start

• Staggered Start: Begins by pace groups with approximately 1 minute between waves.
• Course Congestion: Line up by pace to minimize congestion for faster runners.
• Be Punctual: Late arrivals for the Half Marathon may face uphill walking while others race downhill.
• Rolling Start: All runners should be on course within a few minutes.

👟 Shoe and Gear Guidelines

• Recommended Shoes: Road shoes are ideal: trail shoes are not necessary.
• Gaiters: Some runners may choose to use gaiters, but this is personal preference.
• Lighting Requirement: Marathon runners must carry a light for the tunnel.
• Light Drop Off: Use the tear tag on your bib for marking your light at the tunnel exit.
