🌲 Lime Creek Timber Trot Overview

We have added a 5K option to our event. Choose either the 5K or the 5 mile race. CHIP TIMING! No more hand timing. Packet pick up at the Nature Center on Friday, Oct 3rd from 2:30-4pm and race morning 8:00-8:30am.

🍂 Trail Running Experience

Event Distances: Enjoy a 5 mile or 5 K trail run among the beautiful fall colors of the Lime Creek Nature Center trails.
Scenic Routes: The scenic trails will guide you through both restored open prairie and wooded areas bordered by the Winnebago River.
Inclusive Atmosphere: This event is for everyone! From those who enjoy competing against others to those who just want to take a leisurely stroll or jog for some great scenery and exercise.
Early Registration: Early entry ends August 23rd. Register by noon, Sept 18th and receive a long-sleeved tech fabric race shirt.

🏆 Awards and Sponsorship

Gift Card: All entries will receive a gift card for $20 to our sponsor's store: Wayne's Ski and Cycle.
Trophy Awards: Trophy to overall male and female winner in 5K and 5 mile races.
Medals: Medals for age group 1st, 2nd, and 3rd places (5K only: 14 & Under, 15-19) (5 mile only: 19 & Under), 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, and 60-69, and 70 & Over.
Donation Match: We have a wonderful sponsor who will match Wayne's $20 gift card with a $20 cash donation to Lime Creek. Your entire entry fee + $20 goes directly to Lime Creek for LCNC Programs.

Please note: Parts of the trail may be rocky and therefore no spikes are allowed!

💵 Entry Fees

Early Entry: By Aug 23rd: $35
T-shirt Deadline: By noon, Sept 18th: $40
After Deadline: Registration after noon, Sept 18th: $40 and no guaranteed shirt.
In-Person Registration: Can register in person on morning of race 8am to 8:30am.
