❤️ About Lucy

Lucy was diagnosed with a rare disease called Parry Romberg Syndrome in July of 2020. This disease causes degenerative damage to one side of the face. Since her diagnosis, she has undergone heavy medication treatments and four major surgeries to reconstruct her face and combat the further progression of the disease.

🌟 Inspiration and Purpose

• Resilience: Lucy has become a stronger and more faith-filled individual.
• Empowerment: She has inspired others to be strong through whatever hard times they may face.
• Giving Back: She has always wanted to do more than receive.
• Aim: This race is put on in efforts to race awareness and donate to the amazing organizations and foundations that supported her during her journey.
