🏃‍♂️ About the Race

• Event Type: Gun timed fun run Fundraiser for the historic Methodist Church of Mooreville.
• Proceeds: Benefit the rebuilding and expansion of local outreach.
• Background: After our inaugural, very successful event of 2019, we suffered a catastrophic fire of the Sanctuary.
• Invitation: We invite you to return, and bring your friends, to assist us in our continued rebuilding efforts.

🕘 Event Details

• Start Time: The start time has been delayed until 10 am due to last year's weather delay and dense fog.
• Feedback: We heard from a great number of you that the later start time was just what you had hoped.
• Registration: We have lowered the early bird registration fee, and the family rates based on your suggestions.
• Location: 206 FM 2643, Chilton, TX.

🌄 Race Experience

• Route: The pavement is challenging, the scenery is pastoral, and the fellowship is genuine.
• Activities: Come run, walk, amble, or waddle with us—enjoy the brunch, the bake sale, the lemonade, and the hot chocolate.
• Support: Cheerleaders are abundant, and the finish is downhill.
• Challenges: We have continued the 1-mile challenge for the enjoyment of our participants.

🏆 Awards

• Best Costume: Additional awards for Groundhog costumes!!!
• Youngest and Oldest: Additional awards for the oldest and youngest participants.
• Uphill Challenge: Additional awards for "up the hill."
• Brunch: Brunch afterwards at the fellowship hall—MISS CONNIE'S FAMOUS BURRITOS WILL BE AVAILABLE.
