Muncy Monster Dash 5k

Event Overview

• Date: Saturday, October 31, 2026
• Location: Ward L. Myers Elementary School, 125 New Street, Muncy, PA
• Organizer: Organization of Parents and Teachers (OPT)
• Fundraiser: This is the school’s biggest fundraiser of the year!

Race Options

• 5k Race: Timed and untimed options available, suitable for all ages.
• Strollers: Welcomed during the race.
• Pets: No pets are allowed.
• Route Guides: There will be guides available along the race loop.

Kids 1 Mile Fun Run

• Eligibility: Primarily for students 12 and under.
• Obstacles: Optional obstacles will be on the first 1-mile loop.
• Adult Supervision: Parents may join their child for safety.
• Route Guides: Guides will also be available for this run.

Race Schedule

• 5k Start: 9:30 AM, with timed racers starting first.
• Kids Run Start: Approximately 9:35-9:40 AM.
• Punctuality: Please plan to arrive on time as the race will start promptly.
• Packet Pick Up: Available on race day from 8-9:15 AM.

Proceeds and Support

• Use of Funds: Proceeds will support school-wide programs and activities.
• Specific Events: Includes field trips, school shirts, dances, and more.
• Support: Helps with educational concerts, assemblies, and end-of-year activities.
• Contributions: Enhances resources available to students of Ward L. Myers Elementary School.

Prizes

• Top Male/Female: Timed runners over 18 may win $100 cash.
• Age Group Awards: Joe’s Pizza gift cards for top timed finishers over 18.
• Youth Awards: Gift cards from Hooplas for top timed 17 and under runners.
• Timing: Provided by Falcon Race Timing to determine winners.

Registration Details

• Online Registration: Last day to register is October 27 at 8:30 AM.
• In-Person Registration: Available on race day from 8-9 AM.
• Free Shirt: Available if registered by October 10.
• Packet Pick Up: Scheduled for October 29 from 6:30-8 PM.

Pricing

• Kids 1 Mile Fun Run: $15 until August 31, $18 until October 11, $20 race day.
• 5k Run or Walk: $25 until August 31, $28 until October 11, $30 race day.
• Incentive Week: For Myers Elementary students only from September 28 - October 2.
• Give-Away: Information will be shared with Myers Elementary students.
