Event Overview

• Event Name: 5th Annual Community Walk, Run & Roll
• Date: Saturday, June 6, 2026
• Location: Michigan Veteran Homes at Chesterfield Township, Chesterfield, MI
• Purpose: Celebrating five years of serving veterans and honoring local heroes

Event Details

• Inclusivity: Open to individuals of all abilities
• Proceeds: Support MVHCT Charitable Support Fund
• Activities: Programs, outings, and more for veteran members
• Cash/Cheque: Required for silent auction and raffle

5K Run/Walk

• Course: Timed 5K course on the property
• Community: A day of fitness, fun, and gratitude
• Shirt: Commemorative event shirt for registered participants by May 22nd
• Experience: Spend time with veterans and dedicated team

Remembrance Walk (.5 Mile)

• Distance: 0.5-mile loop of remembrance
• Purpose: Honor and connect with veterans
• Inclusivity: Open to all—walk, cheer, or provide support
• Appreciation: Commemorative event shirt for registered participants by May 22nd

Race Day Schedule

• 8:00 am - 9:00 am: Walker/Runner check-in & registration
• 9:00 am: Opening Ceremony at the Starting Line
• 9:15 am: .5 Mile Remembrance Walk starts
• 9:30 am: 5K & Member Chariots report to start line

• Purchase: Volunteer shirt or event shirt available

Parking Information

• Location: Off-site at Naldrett and Green Elementary Schools
• Shuttle Service: Continuous service to the staging area
• Time: Allow an extra 10-15 minutes for parking
