Panther Prowl 5K, 1 Mile Walk, or Virtual Event

🎉 Event Overview

The 15th Annual Pitman Education Foundation’s Panther Prowl will consist of a 5K run, 1 Mile Walk, and a virtual event.

🏃‍♂️ 5K Run Details

• Starting Point: This is the classic 5K run that starts at the Pitman Jr/Sr High School.
• Course: The run makes its way to Kindle Elementary School, then back to Pitman Jr/Sr High School, typically finishing with a lap around the high school track.
• Traffic Control: Police and other volunteers will be at busy intersections to stop traffic.
• Course Support: Please note, the course is only supported for 40 minutes. If you plan to walk, please participate in the 1 mile walk, not the 5K run.

🚶‍♀️ 1 Mile Walk

• Perfect for Walkers: For participants who prefer to walk, the 1 Mile Walk is perfect.
• Start Time: This event will start at the Pitman Jr/Sr High School immediately following the 5K start.
• Course: The walk goes through the streets close to the school.

🌐 Virtual Event Info

• Flexible Participation: The virtual event can be done anytime! You can run, walk, or even bike any route, anywhere, and for any distance.
• Share Your Experience: After you finish, share a picture on Facebook or Instagram using the hashtag #virtuallyontheprowl.
• No Course Support: Keep in mind that your run is virtual and will not be supported. There will not be a water stop and no volunteers to stop traffic.
• Receive a T-shirt: Virtual participants will receive a Panther Prowl T-shirt, but there will not be any awards.

👶 Free Kids Fun Run

• Time: After 5K finish ~9:10.
• Course: The course for the fun run is typically once around the track, but due to track construction, an alternate course may be used.

📅 Important Dates

• T-shirt Guarantee: T-shirts guaranteed only if registered by 9/27/2025.
• Packet Pick-up: Drive Through Packet Pick-up on 10/18 from 5-6 PM at Pitman Jr/Sr High School parking lot (225 Linden Ave).

🎓 Support Our Schools

All proceeds of this event go directly to funding grants for Pitman School District teachers. These grants help to fund things like subscriptions to online learning materials, books, musical instruments, art supplies, and special events. Thank you for participating!
