The Rhode Island Half Marathon and 5K is BACK and set for Sunday, May 16th, 2027.

Race Options

• Choose: Half marathon or 5K
• Scenic Views: Enjoy views of Narragansett Bay and the iconic Providence skyline
• Starting Point: Both courses start and finish at Pierce Memorial Stadium, East Providence, RI
• USATF-certified: Both courses are certified for accuracy

Participants' Benefits

• Finisher’s Medal: Exclusive to all race participants
• Course Options: Scenic, coastal USATF-certified half marathon or 5K courses

Field and Course Limitations

• Half Marathon Cap: 2,000 participants with a course limit of 3.5 hours
• 5K Cap: 1,500 participants
• Waitlist: Will open once fields sell out

Half Marathon Pace Groups

• Pacing: Led by Marathon Sports' experienced team
• Available Times: 1:45, 2:00, 2:15, 2:30, 2:45, 3:00
• Joining: No sign-up required: just meet on race morning
• Locate Pacers: Meet at start line 15 minutes before start

Online Entry Fees

• Half Marathon: $75 - $100 depending on registration period
• 5K Fees: $34 - $45 depending on registration period
• Chip Timing: All participants will be chip-timed
• No Refunds: No refunds for any entries

Packet Pickup Information

• Pre-Race Pickup: Available May 8, May 14, and May 15 at Marathon Sports
• Race Day Pickup: Available starting at 6:15 AM at Pierce Memorial Stadium

Bag Drop

Bag drop will be available near the finish line. Please pick up your bag immediately post-race. Bag check closes at 11 AM.

Prize Structure

• Overall Awards: Based on gun time for overall winners and chip time for age groups
• Age Group Prizes: Awards for various age brackets
• Team Awards: Teams must register online for entry into family and friends teams
