• Address: Riverfront: Clyde Fant Memorial Parkway, Shreveport, Louisiana

Race Events

• Courses: The 5K Run, 5K Walk & the 5 Mile Road Race are on a well-lit and mostly flat course.
• Traffic: There will be no vehicular traffic.
• Sanctioned by: These races are sanctioned by the Red River Road Runners and the RRCA.

Packet Pick-up

• Location: Packet pick up at Sportspectrum, 6970 Fern Avenue in Shreveport.
• Dates: Thursday, November 6th from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. and Friday, November 7th from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
• Late Pick-up: Late packet pick up will be from 4:00-5:30 p.m. at Riverview Hall.
• Registration: Late Registration will NOT be accepted day of the race.

Fees

• Cost: $30.00 present day to November 8th for 5 Mile Road Race and 5K Run & 5K Walk.

Packet Inclusions

• Items: Includes a unisex Brooks short sleeve t-shirt, race number, and a food/beverage coupon.
• Shirt Guarantee: Shirts will be guaranteed to those registered by October 26th.
• Pick-up Requirement: Packets will not be mailed.

Schedule of Events

• 4:30 pm: Buses start running.
• 5:00 pm: Late Packet Pick-up at Riverview Hall.
• 5:40 pm: LAST BUS!
• 6:00 pm: Race Time!! Don't be late.
• 6:30 pm: Post Party Begins - Music by Kevin Thomas, dinner and beverages.

Awards

• 5 Mile Road Race: Open Overall Male/Female ($250), Masters Male/Female (40 and over) - 1st & 2nd, Grand Masters Male/Female (50 and over) - 1st & 2nd, Senior Grand Masters Male/Female (60 and over) - 1st & 2nd, Legends Male/Female (70 and over) - 1st & 2nd.
• Age Group: 1st and 2nd in each age group will receive awards. No duplicate awards.
• 5K Run & 5K Walk: Open Overall Male/Female: 1st ($100) & 2nd awards, Master: Male/Female 1st & 2nd.
• Age Groups: Male/Female: 14 and under, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69 & 70 and older will be awarded 1st & 2nd place.

Notes

• Chip Requirement: No Chip, No Ride, No Time, No Award!

Parking & Hotel Accommodations

• Parking: The Parkway will be closed for the race. Parking is only at the North end of the Parkway in the lots located Sci-Port.

Post Race Party

• Location: A finish line party will be held inside Riverview Hall.
• Offerings: Enjoy food, beverages, music and awards!

Cancellation Policy

• Deferral: If the event has to be cancelled, we will allow participates to defer to 2025.
• Refunds: Refunds will not be given.
