- Sponsor: This race is sponsored by the Chatham Lions Club in conjunction with the Alger County Fair.
- Pre-registration: Pre-register by July 26th to receive a free T-shirt. Late and walk-in registrations are allowed, but will not be guaranteed a T-shirt.
- On-site Registration: On-site registration and packet pick-up begins at 8:00 am the day of the race.
- Participation Benefits: All participants receive a free T-shirt (if pre-registered), a discount coupon for Ice Cream at Mama Cows, and a day pass to the Alger County Fair.
Community Impact
- Proceeds: All proceeds go to the Chatham Lions Club to support local community events.
- Race Route: The race will begin at the Peoples State Bank in Chatham and proceed past the cow filled pastures of Michigan State University’s Upper Peninsula Research and Extension Center and finish back at the Peoples State Bank.
