Running with the Dogs

🐶 Event Overview

• Annual Event: 4th annual Running with The Dogs 5k benefiting the Kilgore Independent School District Education Foundation.
• Location: The race will start and end at the Dudley Road entrance of the Creekside Trail.
• Activities: The Running with the Dogs 5K Fun Run and Creekside Party promises a barking good time with an amazing DJ and more!
• Community Support: Runners (and walkers!) from East Texas and beyond will enjoy a fast course that starts and ends on the Dudley Road entrance of the new Kilgore Creekside Trail.

🏃‍♂️ Kids Race

• Age Group: Don't forget about the 1K for kids age 3-5th grade. Parents can watch the entire course!
• Prizes: Prizes given for winners!
• Event Nature: The Running with the Dogs 5K is a great event for groups, new runners, experienced runners looking for a PR, walkers, kids, and more!
• Awards: PRIZES will be given for 1st - 3rd overall Male and Female runners and kids race winners.

💰 Fundraising Details

• Purpose: Funds raised through the Running with the Dogs race benefit the Kilgore Independent School District Education Foundation.
• Mission: The mission of the Education Foundation is to endow and enhance the educational experience of students by providing financial support for district-wide programs and activities.

🕖 Schedule

• 7:00 am: Packet Pickup
• 8:00 am: Kids 1K race (more heats will be added if necessary)
• 8:40 am: 5k Race/Fun Run/ Walk
• 10:00 am: Awards
