Race Overview

• Challenge: Experience the beauty of North Topsail Beach while testing your endurance.
• Race Distances: Featuring a Half Marathon, 10K, and 5K, all on the sand.
• Honoring Legacy: Hosted in memory of Dr. E.B. Sledge, honoring all combat veterans.
• Support: Proceeds benefit Semper Fi & America’s Fund, aiding wounded service members and their families.

Course Information

• Location: Half marathon, 10K & 5K courses are all on the beach.
• Cut-off Time: Half marathon cut-off time is 4 hours.
• Disqualification: Runners left on the course after 4 hours will be picked up and disqualified for awards.

Shirts and Merchandise

• Options: Purchase a shirt instead of it being included in registration.
• Variety: A variety of items available in the race store.
• Pickup: Items will be available to pick up with your packet or shipped for virtual participants.
• Cost: Designed to keep race registration costs low for runners.

Additional Information

• Event Status: This is a rain or shine event.
• Parking: Expecting to fill up the parking at the start/finish area.
• Shuttle Service: Free shuttle setup at Beach Access #31 starting at 7:15am.
• Deadline: Last shuttle departs at 8:00am, so don’t miss it.
