The Non-Runners Run: A Race for The Underachiever

🏃‍♂️ Event Overview

On Saturday October 19th 2024, Operation Military Kids Club (OMKC) will be hosting the 5th annual Non-Runners Run: A Race for The Underachiever.

📏 Race Details

• Distance: A half mile in distance with a donut/water stop at the half way mark.
• Start Time: The course starts at 10:00am.
• Starting Point: Faith Harbor United Methodist Church (14201 NC Hwy 50 Surf City, NC 28445).
• Finish Line: Ends at The Salty Turtle (103 Triton Lane Surf City, NC 28445).

👕 Registration and Participation

• Age Requirement: All participants 21 and over will receive a ticket for a free beer: root beer for those 20 and under.
• T-Shirt Offer: All participants (18 years and older) that are registered by October 1st will receive a Non-Runners Run t-shirt.
• Email for Sizes: To request a t-shirt for registered child/ren, please email nonrunnersrun@gmail.com with your name and the youth sizes you would like.
• Cost: $28 for ages 18 and older, $10 for ages 5-17, Under 5 is FREE.

🎟️ Additional Information

• Spots: This race is open to the first 300 registered participants, so don’t wait to sign up as spots fill up fast.
• Raffle Prizes: Will be announced throughout race registration and at the opening ceremony at the start of the race.
• Accessibility: This race is stroller and wheelchair friendly. No dogs, with the exception of service dogs, are allowed on the race course.
• Parking: Available at Faith Harbor and The Salty Turtle: carpooling is highly recommended.
