Gobble, Gobble! Join TWIN RIVERS YMCA for our 18th Annual Turkey Trot 5K & 10K on Thursday, November 27, 2025, at Taberna Golf and Country Club (401 Taberna Way, New Bern, NC). Our 5K is perfect for families, strollers, and leashed dogs, and is open to both timed and untimed runners and walkers. The 10K is designed for competitive runners and is open to timed runners only.

5K

• Price: $33 – Register by October 31
• Price: $38 – Beginning November 1
• Price: $40 – Race Day (November 27)

10K

• Price: $38 – Register by October 31
• Price: $43 – Beginning November 1
• Price: $45 – Race Day (November 27)

Kid’s Dash: $16 - Children 10 and under will race a 40-yard dash and give it all they’ve got! All Kid’s Dash participants receive a t-shirt and medal.

• Transaction Fees: Included in the registration price.
• Shirt Guarantee: Register by Friday, October 10 to guarantee your race shirt and preferred size.
• Dry-Fit Shirt: An additional $10.00 charge applies if selected. Register by October 10 for availability.
• Policy: NO REFUNDS. NO TRANSFERS.

Kid’s Dash: 6:00 – 8:30 AM (Race starts at 9:15 AM)

Awards Ceremony for 5K & 10K: 8:45 AM

❓ Event Day Information

• Questions: Visit the registration table or approach anyone in a bright yellow volunteer shirt.
• Packet Mailing Option: Shirt shipping is available for an additional $10 fee (bibs will not be mailed). Shirts will be shipped on Friday, November 21st.
• Parking & Shuttle: Free parking will be available in the Subdivision of Taberna. A shuttle will run from the clubhouse.
• Dog Rules: All dogs must be on a fixed leash. Owners are responsible for cleanup. Waste bags will be provided.
