UNICO's FALL WALKATHON 4 Families with ALS (Lou Gehrig’s Disease)

Event Overview

• Organizer: UNICO of Belleville, a chapter of THE PREMIER ITALIAN AMERICAN SERVICE ORGANIZATION IN THE UNITED STATES.
• Beneficiaries: Partnering with the PSZbelieveFoundation and Robert Luongo ALS fund to support Essex County Families with ALS (Lou Gehrig’s Disease).

Event Details

• Date: Saturday, September 26, 2026.
• Check-in: Receive your free t-shirt upon arrival.
• Start Time: Race/Walk starts at 9:30 AM.
• Location: Belleville Senior Citizens Recreation Center, 8 Franklin Ave, Belleville, NJ.

Refreshments

• Pre-Walk Snacks: Free bagels, coffee, and water served before and during the walk.
• Post-Walk Meal: Hotdogs and drinks will be available after the event.
• Honoring Sponsors: We will take a moment to honor our sponsors and those representing families with ALS.

Course Information

• Race Options: 5K Race (3.1M) or a 1.5 Mile Walk.
• Scenic Route: The route will go through beautiful Branch Brook Park and return to the Recreation Center.
• Community Involvement: Please tell someone or bring your friends!
