Race Overview
We are so excited for our 5th Annual Lake Of The Woods 5k & 50K! February 7th!
The race will begin at 7:50am (5k) & 8am (50k) on Saturday February 7th, located at the Lake Of The Woods Camp Grounds (3939 Swartzel Rd Farmersville, Ohio 45325).
Participant Perks
- Registration Benefits: Every runner/rucker who signs up for the 5k or 50k run/ruck will get an official 2025 LOW50k poster, a LOW50k drawstring bag, and a finishers medal included with sign up!
- Hooded Pullover: Official race hooded pullover will be $25 and will be available for pre-order up until January 23rd!
Course Details
- Course Structure: Runners will line up outside of the clubhouse/main aid station area near the lake, and take off on a 5k looped course.
- Loop Information: Runners participating in the 5k will stop after one loop and runners participating in the 50k will go out for 10 loops.
- Award Ceremony: An award ceremony for each running event will be held as the majority of runners finish their respective races.
- Course Terrain: The loops through the woods and around the lake, featuring hills and a creek crossing (Not deep).
Facilities and Amenities
- Restroom Facilities: The campground features a shower house with heated restrooms, and an outdoor shelter that will serve as the main aid station.
- Race Features: Other race features include two port-a-potties at the main aid, a large bonfire area for outdoor warm ups, and hot soup and mashed potatoes served all day at the main aid station.
Registration and Event Details
- 5k Run/Ruck Registration: Early bird $25 (now through 11/29/25), $35 (11/30/25 through 2/7/26).
- 50k Run/Ruck Registration: Early bird $55 (now through 11/29/25), $65 (11/30/25 through 2/7/26).
- Event Timing: Packet pick up begins at 6:30AM, 5k begins at 7:50AM, and 50k begins at 8AM.
- Course Features: Heated Indoor Bathrooms/showers are located near the main aid station, and two aid stations will be on the course.
Additional Information
This event is rain or shine (or snow). Parking can be located at the campground. Enter the main entrance gate, follow the road ahead as it curves to the right (follow the signs/volunteers), make a right at the intersection and park along the field. From the parking area you will need to walk less than a quarter mile to the clubhouse.
We expect amazing finishes, tough trails, and maybe even a Bigfoot sighting or two.... See you there!
