Lake Of The Woods 5k & 50K

🏞️ Event Overview

We are so excited for our 4th Annual Lake Of The Woods 5k & 50K! February 15th!

The race will begin at 7:50am (5k) & 8am (50k) on Saturday February 15th, located at the Lake Of The Woods Camp Grounds (3939 Swartzel Rd Farmersville, Ohio 45325).

Every runner/rucker who signs up for the 5k or 50k run/ruck will get:

• Poster: An official 2024 LOW50k poster.
• Keychain: A LOW50k keychain.
• Medal: A finishers medal included with sign up!
• Sweatpants: Official race sweatpants available for $25, pre-order by January 31st!

🏃 Race Details

Runners will line up outside of the clubhouse/main aid station area near the lake and take off on a 5k looped course. Details include:

• 5k: One loop.
• 50k: Ten loops.
• Awards: An award ceremony for each running event will be held as most runners finish.
• Course: The course features wide trails, hills, a creek crossing, and loops through the woods and around the lake.

🛠️ Facilities & Amenities

The campground features:

• Restrooms: Heated restroom shower house.
• Aid Station: An outdoor shelter will serve as the main aid station.
• Bonfire: A large bonfire area for outdoor warm-ups.
• Food: Hot soup and mashed potatoes served all day at the main aid station.

5k Run/Ruck Registration:

• Early Bird: $25 (now through 11/30/24).
• Registration: $35 (12/1/23 through 2/15/24).

50k Run/Ruck Registration:

• Early Bird: $55 (now through 11/30/24).
• Registration: $65 (12/1/24 through 2/15/25).

Additional details:

• Packet Pick-Up: Begins at 6:30 AM.
• Race Start Times: 5k at 7:50 AM, 50k at 8 AM.
• Cutoff: 50k ends at 6 PM (10 hour cutoff).
• Requirements: Ruckers must carry a minimum of 25lbs (weigh in at packet pick up). No weighted vests.

This event is rain or shine (or snow). Parking can be located at the campground.

We expect amazing finishes, tough trails, and maybe even a Bigfoot sighting or two.... See you there!
