🎅 Event Overview

The 5th annual running of the Santa's! 12/13/25

❄️ Weather Updates

• Course Change: Due to the snow storm moving in on Thursday night the city has informed us that our scheduled road closures have been cancelled. That being said we are forced to alter the course to be an “out and back” on the bike path for this year. This is the safest option for our runners.
• Start/End Location: We will still be starting and ending at Gravel Road Brewing.
• Path Conditions: If the snow is significant you should expect the bike path to be snow covered, so please wear the appropriate clothing/shoes for your planned race. Your shoes will get wet.
• Notification: If this storm moves up to morning hours we will notify you via email of any race changes/updates.

🏅 Race Details

This year we are bigger and better than ever! A 1 mile and 5k! Through historic downtown Middletown.

• Fun Atmosphere: Come to run dressed as the big guy and stay a while to enjoy the ice rink, restaurants and shopping specials downtown!
• Participant Gifts: Every participant will receive a Santa hat, unique keepsake Christmas ornament, and a "Hot Drink" ticket from the coffee Truck!
• Costume Contest: We would love to see all our runners dressed up as Santa, and of course there is a prize for the jolliest looking Santa at the event!
• Aid Stations: Our elves have stocked up for a milk and cookie aid station, with water available also.

🎁 Community Involvement

• Toys For Tots: Toys For Tots will be there collecting donations of toys or monetary donations to help needy children in the community.
• Adult Refreshments: For our adult Santa's, Gravel Road Brewing will have Half off your first beer!
• Registration Fee: The registration fee is $25 now through Nov 29th! Increases to $30 on Nov 30th!
• Thank You: Thank you to our sponsors, Downtown Middletown Inc., Steve's Trophies, Affordable Paving, and Barney Riesbeck State Farm.

• Registration Deadline: November 29th - hat deadline & last day for early bird pricing
• Race Day: December 13th

⏰ Event Schedule

• 8am: Pre Race packet Pickup at start line area
• 9am: Race Start
• 10am: Award Ceremony

🅿️ Parking Information

- Parking area is limited at the brewery but there is plenty of free parking available across the street beside and behind the Sorg Opera House Theatre 63 S Main Street.

• Age Group Awards: 1st-3rd place Male/Female award in the 5k
• Costume Prize: Jolliest Santa Prize
