Please join us for the St James Elementary School Royal Run 5k & 1 Mile Fun Walk on Saturday, January 24th, 2026! We have an incredibly fun event planned, and all proceeds will directly benefit SJES to support the programming and supplies our children benefit from throughout the school year!
Event Schedule
- Friday, January 23rd, 2026: 4:00pm - 6:30pm - Packet Pick Up at St. James Elementary School
- Saturday, January 24th, 2026: 7:00am-8:15am - Packet Pick Up and On-Site Registration, Warm-Ups and Pre-Race FUN at Verdict Ridge Pool parking lot
- Start Time: 8:30am - 5k Royal Run START! Run, Jog, Walk, Stroll - Let's Do IT!
- Location: Verdict Ridge Pool parking lot for our start and finish line, located at 1633 Withers Drive Denver, NC.
Race Entry Includes
- Pre-race fun: Enjoy exciting activities before the race!
- Race T-Shirt: Available in adult and youth sizes (T-Shirts only guaranteed if registered by 1/11/2026)
- Awards: Age group certificates and finisher medals for all kids
- Finish Line Festival: Celebrate your achievement with a fabulous festival!

- 1st Place: Male & female overall
- Age Group Awards: 1st, 2nd, 3rd male and female in the following age groups:
- Age Groups: 10 & under, 11-14, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60+
