🦃 Tuscarawas County YMCA Turkey Trot

This will be the Tuscarawas County YMCA's 55th Turkey Trot! The event is held on Thanksgiving Day, Thursday, November 26, 2026 at 9:00 AM located at the Tuscarawas County YMCA, 600 Monroe St, Dover, OH 44622. Everyone is welcome to register and participate in this fun, family-friendly race whether you're a serious runner, walker, family with strollers and dogs, or are just looking to start your Thanksgiving off right! Our participants ages range from babies all the way to runners in their 90's!

🥇 Awards

• Top Finishers: Awards are given to the top three overall female and male finishers.
• Age Groups: Top 3 in each age group will receive awards.
• Special Awards: Special awards for best spirit, costume, oldest and youngest runners, and best pet costume will also be given at the race.

👕 T-Shirts

• Sizes Available: We offer Youth Small to Large, Adult Small to 3X-Large, or No Shirt option.
• Registration Deadline: Please register by November 1 to guarantee a race shirt!

💰 Proceeds

All proceeds from the Turkey Trot provide direct financial assistance to kids and families in our community through the Y's Annual Campaign, ensuring everyone has the opportunity for a Y membership, program participation, life-saving swim lessons, preschool, afterschool care, summer camp, youth sports and so much more.

• Wednesday, November 25: 4:00-7:00 PM - Pre-Packet Pickup
• Thursday, November 26 = Race Day:
• 6:30-8:00 AM - Packet Pickup
• 8:45 AM - Pre-race Announcements and Spirit Awards
• 9:00 AM - Race Start
• 9:30 AM - Awards Pickup

• Overall Winners: Top 3 Overall Men & Women
• Age Groups: Top 3 Men & Women in several age groups including 14 & Under, 15-19, 20-24, and more.
• Special Categories: Top 1 in Best Spirit, Costume, Oldest, and Youngest Runners.
• Pet Costume: Top 1 in Best Pet Costume
