Cake by the Lake

🎂 Race Overview

• Event: The Fourth Annual Cake by the Lake 5K and One Mile Cakewalk
• Date: Saturday, April 5, 2025
• Location: Liberty Park, Inverness, FL
• Course: Both events start on the Withlacoochee State Trail

🏞️ Event Details

• Start Times: 5K Runners will take off at sunrise, followed by 1-mile walkers
• Route: Travel along the beautiful shores of the Tsala Apopka chain of lakes
• Awards: Unique cake plate age-level awards will be three-deep in five-year age increments for the 5K
• Post-Race: Finishers will receive medals and enjoy music, festivities, and delicious cake by the lake, along with ice cream

👦 Registration Information

• Kids Registration: $10 for kids up to 12 years old
• Teens Registration: $15 for teens 13-17
• Adults: 18 and older are considered adults
• Swag: 17 and under will receive different swag than adults, including a heavy 3" full-color medal
