Event Overview
Join us for the popular Athens Fair 5K Run/Walk that takes place in downtown Athens as part of the Annual Athens Fair. This year is the 16th running of the popular mid-summer run.
Race Details
- Date: 2026-08-22
- Location: Memorial Park, Athens, WI
- Start Point: In front of the Beer Tent
- Route: Through scenic Erbach Park trails, finishing on Kreutzer Street next to Main Street Market
Community Support
- Sponsorship: Local businesses generously sponsor the giveaways including T-shirts, finish line snacks and beverages, water stops, and awards.
- Registration Proceeds: Support the many activities of the Athens Fair.
- Race Management: Managed by members of the Athens Area Trail Association.
